According to Discovery a new study indicates that “women running for top offices need to appear competent and attractive. For male candidates, seeming competent may be enough.

Earlier this week Obama told Charles Gibson that his cabinet would be bipartisan, though he would not go into details about any picks. What I found refreshing was Obama’s claim that he, and democrats in general, should “draw the right lesson from any victory.” As Obama pointed out “it is easy to draw lessons from defeat” because defeat is sobering. Yet, despite these claims of cross-party politics, how will the pendulum actually swing if Obama makes it into office?
