Last week was a bad week for the McCain campaign, and this one could be even worse.
While the debate was probably a draw overall, that was in many ways a loss for McCain because foreign policy was supposed to be his strong suit against Obama.

UPDATE: Bailout fails first test in the House. Lawmakers vote 205 to 228 against approval.
Gallup’s first post-debate polls completed: Barack Obama leads John McCain, 50% to 42%. WSJ reports that Lawmakers finished writing the bailout bill late Sunday and now the bill awaits votes in Congress starting on Monday. It remains unclear if either McCain or Obama will return to Washington to cast bailout votes.
